Designer for Guindy & Nungambakkam
Head offices, manufacturers with a plant elsewhere and a boardroom here, hotels, law firms and consultancies. Work in this belt is usually approved by a committee, and it goes in front of clients rather than passers-by.
Work I do most in this area

Working with a committee
Corporate projects rarely stall on design. They stall on approval — six people, three opinions, and a document that goes round for a month. These arrangements prevent it.
-
One named approver
Collect internal feedback, then send it consolidated. Contradictory notes from four people cost you a revision round, not me.
-
Structure signed off first
Page order and content approved before any visual design. Reordering a laid-out 24-page catalogue is real work; reordering a list is free.
-
Paperwork handled
NDA signed before material moves, GST invoices with PO references, payment terms matched to your finance cycle.
Questions from corporate clients
Can you work to a tender deadline?
Yes, and I will tell you honestly whether the date is achievable before taking it on. A 12-page profile needs about two weeks with content ready; a rush turnaround is possible at 25% more if it displaces other scheduled work.
Do you sign NDAs?
Routinely, before any material moves. Some of this work never appears in my portfolio for that reason — I will show comparable work under similar terms instead.
We have existing brand guidelines. Will you follow them?
Yes. Send the guidelines and any existing templates, and new material is built inside the system rather than adjacent to it. Where the guidelines are silent I will ask rather than assume.
How does invoicing work for a company?
GST invoices with PO references, matched to your finance cycle. Payment terms are agreed in the quote — typically 50% to start and 50% on delivery, or against your standard terms if they differ.
Our approval process involves several people. Is that a problem?
It is normal, and manageable if feedback is consolidated by one person before it reaches me. Sign off the structure and content before visual design starts and the whole thing moves considerably faster.

Tender deadline coming up?
Send the page count, the submission date and who signs off. You'll get a fixed quote the same day.
