The states most designs skip
A screen has one happy path and about five other conditions. Leave those out and your developer invents them, which is how a polished mockup ships as an inconsistent product.

The first screen every new user sees. Designing it with three rows of dummy data hides the problem entirely.

On Indian mobile data this state is visible often. Skeletons, not a centred spinner on white.

What actually went wrong and what to do next — not "Something went wrong."

The user with a 40-character name and 200 items. Layouts break here, not at the average.

Buttons mid-submit, forms partially valid. Specified so nobody double-taps and pays twice.

How much does UI/UX design cost in Chennai?
₹1,200 an hour for open-ended work, ₹12,000 for an audit, ₹25,000 for a single complete flow and ₹80,000 upwards for a full product of about 25 screens. Fixed pricing once the screen count is settled.
Do you build the product too?
No. I design and hand over to your developers, then stay available during the build for the questions that always come up. If you need a WordPress or ecommerce site built, that is a different service.
What tool do you work in?
Figma. You get the file, with named layers, published components and a spacing scale — not flattened images. Your team keeps access after handover.
Can you work with our existing design system?
Yes, and it usually goes faster. Send the Figma library. If the system has gaps I will flag them rather than quietly inventing components that nobody else can reuse.
Do you do user research?
Light research — reviewing your analytics, support tickets and existing user feedback. Recruiting participants and running formal studies is a specialist job and I will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
Our developers say the designs are unbuildable. Can you help?
Usually that means states are missing, spacing is inconsistent, or the design assumes something the platform does not do. An audit finds which of those it is, and it is generally fixable without redesigning from scratch.
