Design is charged per page, printing is charged per piece, and mixing the two is how quotes become impossible to compare. Both are laid out below.

What printing adds
Paid to the press, not to me. These are typical Chennai numbers so you can budget the whole job rather than half of it. Get a real quote before committing — paper prices move.
The jump from 250 to 1,000 copies is small because setup dominates the cost. If you expect to reprint within the year, printing more now is almost always cheaper than printing twice.

Whether the content exists
Finished copy and usable photographs mean the per-page rate holds. "We'll write it as we go" is the single most common reason a brochure takes six weeks instead of two, and the extra rounds get billed.

Repetition across pages
Twelve product pages sharing one layout cost less per page than twelve pages that each need their own structure. Tell me the page mix and the quote reflects it.

Photography and illustration
Retouching your existing images is included within reason. Stock licensing, a product shoot or custom diagrams are quoted separately because they are separate work.

Second language
A Tamil edition is roughly 60% of the original design fee. Tamil text runs longer than English, so the layout is rebuilt rather than swapped, and it is far cheaper if planned from the start.
